Ecklands Sports Horses in North Dublin are the Irish Horsemanship young horse starting specialists.
They specialise in the production of quality young stock with the aim of offering top class Irish Bred Horses for sale to our domestic and international clients. They pride themselves in the production of talented horses for show jumping & eventing. All young horses are selected for breeding, confirmation, temperament and ability with only the best being retained and produced on our home farm. Their young stock are prepared for competition and jumped competitively from four years of age. The horses are prepared for the professional, semi-professional and serious sports market and of course the riding club amateur. Operated by the Kavanagh Family, Ecklands Sports Horses was established In 2005 as a sales yard aimed primarily at preparing young Irish bred Horses for sale to the professional & Sport market at home and across Europe. In 2008 Vadym Binko joined the team on a full time basis and now competes from the yard.
They run a fantastic young horse starting service. Each horse is brought on with care and patience in its own time, within usually a 6 to 8 week time frame. You are very welcome to come and watch the process as well.
